On the front lines of COVID-19 in NYC

University of Colorado emergency medicine physician Dr. Comilla Sasson is in New York City to help relieve local doctors who have been tirelessly caring for the city's sickest coronavirus patients.
Sasson is vice president for science and innovation in emergency cardiovascular care at the ľ¹ÏÖ±²¥. In addition to her medical degree, she has a doctorate in health services research.
She headed to New York on April 12 for a 30-day placement and has been working at a temporary hospital at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. While she is anxious, she hopes to make her two young children proud.
